Finance Administrator

Perm/ Contract: Permanent Full Time

Hours: 64 hours Bi-weekly

Reports to: General Manager

Level: Junior to Intermediate

Team: Administration

Special Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft 365, familiarity with Sage, familiarity with basic accounting practices.

Aski is currently seeking to add a Finance Administrator to their team on a full-time basis, generally from 9 to 4:30 Monday-Thursday, and from 9-1 on Fridays, 32 hours per week.

 

About the role

The Finance Administrator's role in the company is focused on the overall upkeep of the basic bookkeeping, payroll administration, and assisting the Controller on the financial reporting. This role offers an opportunity to learn and further develop skills in project budget reconciliation and working across a diversity of tasks and industries. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong prioritization, organization, and self-directed work skills.

Responsibilities

  • Upkeep day to day bookkeeping of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Administer EFT payments
  • Assist in cashflow, financial reporting, and budgeting process
  • Organize and prepare Purchase Orders requested by management
  • Reconcile project budgets on a monthly basis

Candidate requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suites including Word, Excel, Sharepoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 or other accounting software
  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting practices
  • Familiarity with Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable entry
  • Strong organization, coordination, and prioritization skills
  • Clear communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
